just a perfect Easter day

Oh as usually I've been so busy recently... I though I spend whole Easter at home... but luckily a great idea popped into my Hubby's mind and he took me for a little lovely trip to Dorset.
What a beautiful, stunning amazing coast!
That was a perfect day. The sun and smell of the sea.....oooh I love it
I've missed seaside. We had a picnic on the rocks, a cup of tea and a piece of cheescake.
What a day!

We decided to help cats and dogs from the Bath Cats and Dogs shelter...
So my friends Sam and Rob had an idea to organize an exhibition in the Bath's Starbucks and sell some our pictures and all income pass on to the Bath Cats and Dogs home.... saying "our" I mean Sam, Rob,Simon and me.
lets keep our fingers crossed!
Mike helped as A LOT! He basically hung all pictures by himself! Big THANK YOU Mike!
If you are in Bath - you can see them in the main Starbucks on the 1st floor..
I've painted three pictures...... now waiting for a new home ...

I've been quite busy recently painting some pictures for our exhibition in Starbucks -Bath.
I'll write about it tomorrow... today...I can't resist writing how wonderful halloween party we've been to...
Our friends Sam and Rob organized a great spooky evening. They've made such an effort and put decoration all over their sweet, cozy house. Pumpkins, candles, lanterns in the garden and lovely food and a little bit of booze...
great!

Before the evening we went for a very long walk, and visited a very old, beautiful cemetery in Bath .

Some time ago, together with my friends Sam and Rob ,we decided to paint some pictures for an animal shelter, the Bath Cats and Dogs, hoping that someone will buy one of our pictures and it'll help these poor animals just a little bit in their sad life...
I wish we could have a little pat, unfortunately our life is too busy, maybe one day....

Our family has been visiting us since friday. It's so nice to have guests, and to show them all the beautiful places and buildings, as they've been build by yourself.
We went to Weston-Super-Mare,where mrMike works and to Lackock ,where fox Talbot- father of photography lived.
Oh they love it! They are so impressed by english culture and by its beauty.
No wonder! It is beautiful :)

What a great great gifts I've got for my birthday!
First in the morning, with my eyes barely opened I saw quite a pile of gifts on our small kitchen table...all from my beloved mrMike....wowo wow. I love love everything , but the most I love a leather bag , red,red,red :))))

then I went to work with my lovely new bag...and there... I've got even more gorgeous gifts, flowers and greeting cards...
I am so happy to have so many exceptional people around me....I am a very lucky person lalalala

Sheffield break

Oh how great time we had visiting our friends in Sheffield!
I felt like being on holiday, we spent almost all visit sitting in the garden, chatting, drinking and eating.
They fed us and treated us like the kings.....
They bought their first house more then year ago, and done lots of work in it. It's such a nice place to leave in, with beautiful old wooden floor , which I really loved.

On Sunday we went to Gloucestershire to visit a beautiful old house( former Tudor hunting lodge ) and outstanding park...
That house was rescued by two man in the 70th , It's a quite amazing story, so if you're interested in please go to Michael Clayton

We spent a little while abroad, having a very nice time in Poland... after we came back I was very busy again, painting a little monkey for my monkey swap. Monkey Swap hosted by Claire
was secret, so the receiver of my monkey swap didn't know who her partner was... and I didn't know from whom I get my monkey....and I got my monkey swap yesterday!!!! My swap partner was my very good chum Sam
lalalala! I was so happy to see a lovely packed parcel with a very sweet note attached to it !
....and insite... there was a picture of the cutes monkey in the world !!!!

Freestyle swap from Bagladee is gorgeous

That parcel's been waiting for me since yesterday in the shop on the corner... so I was running after work hoping the shop's still open...and yeeees! After a while I was running upstairs carrying a quite big parcel.

That was my freestyle swap from Bagledee.
Oh how happy am I !! Everything was beautifully wrapped, with sweet little letter a on every item.

There was a GORGEOUS bag in my favorites colors full of surprises...
Oh Bagledee thank you so much! I love every single thing I've found in the bag, and the bag itself!

There were a truly lovely purse and the sweetest container ever. Everything handmade! Beautiful handmade black card with a lovely message on it, there were also little notes sticked to every item, so pretty!

I just couldn't believe how much effort has Begladee made...I found a very cute notebook in butterflies, I love it too and a really sweet badge: I LOVE BAGLEDEE, oh I really do!
What I've also found in the prettiest bag in the world was a pack of haribo...hmmm
THANK YOU,THANK YOU BEGLADEE. I LOOOOOVE your gift for me. I'am so chuffed! :)

Bagladee has got my freestyle swap finally, and she's said she loved it!
I've painted two cats for her, hoping that they're a bit simmilar to Nell and Oliver, and she's said they were!
I also thought she may be chuffed receiving a picture of bags... and... she's sent me such a lovely thanking email.

I've been so busy making some things for the freestyle swap...
I had no time for blogging, but anyway, I thought it was worth to mention about our visit in Glastonbury during the last weekend. What a sweet town! The Tor hill is amazing and the view....surprising.
Since we've come to the UK I feel like being on a permanent holiday.
We discover new places, new things every day. Changing the place of your life is like being reborn, it's a very refreshing feeling.

Today we decided not to go very far from Bath, so we went to DYRHAM PARK.
The day was so lovely and sunny. Dyrham Park is a stunning place with a very old, beautiful estate.
We spent quite a while there, enjoying the sun and awesome views ...what a day!

What a great Easter we had. We went to MINEHEAD to spend a little while at the seaside. The weather was brilliant and the coast path beautiful. I love the scent of the sea and the color of the sky ...

Yesterday we're in Bristol to see the Kneehigh theatre. My best friend (the blond beauty in a panther top- Patrycja Kujawska) plays one of the main female part there. I love love love that show! If you can, go and see it...it's great!!!

adventure on a Valentine's day

Today Miko made us a delicious breakfast and gave me a sweeeet valentine's card with a picture of two kissing elephants :))
( as I mentioned before I've been given a valentine's gift from Miko some time ago)
After such a nice morning he took me for a very nice trip to Wells and Cheddar Gorge. Oh!
England is so beautiful!!!! I've been dreaming to live here for a very long time and now....my dreams came true :)
Wells is a very lovely and old town. Stunning ruins of Bishop Palace and Bishop Gardens. I love that place. Hope we will go back there in the summer. We visited Cheddar Gorge as well, I was so surprised finding so high and rocky hill there.
We had a perfect day today and now we have so nice evening enjoying wine and whisky .....hmmmm I love my husband :)

It was so nice day yesterday. We went for a short walk in Box - sweet town not far from Bath.
There is a beautiful small chapel and a picturesque old cemetery. I love to discover details of the surrounding world .

Two weeks ago we went for a long walk. Strolling along the canal we had a great time. We walked from Bath to Bradford on Avon.
Bradford on Avon...so sweet, charming place. It's so lovely there...I love countryside

Cake Club

I work with great and very creative people. They've set up cake club which takes place every friday. Every friday one of us is suppose to bring yummy homemade cake....This friday was my turn
Our cake was made by Miko who is bee's knees in baking and I was an assistant - very brave , by the way.

A little bit about me. I am an illustrator and a graphic designer, and together with my beloved husband Miko we moved to England one year ago. We've met wonderful people here and we live in the stunning city. I've got a fantastic job as an in house artist for greeting card publisher. I love colours and shapes and all the oddness of the world. Miko is a photographer. He knows how to catch unique moments of our life and hide them in the photographs.
